The Hour of Code™ learning event officially takes place during Computer Science Week Dec. 4th-8th, 2017. “The ‘Hour of Code™’ is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week [csedweek.org] and Code.org [code.org] to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming.” Check out these video introductions.

CodeMonkey -Program a monkey to catch bananas.
Lightbot – Solve puzzles using programming logic. Teaches basics, procedures and loops.
Choose at least one beginner or intermediate activity to complete, then you can choose an advanced option.
Flappy Bike from Codesters (Python) – “In this activity you’ll create a game with player controls! use key-presses to keep your bike in the air while avoiding obstacles!”
Toxic Jungle – Python from Tynker “Learn Python in this Hour of Code activity. Save the floating islands from the toxic haze by solving fun coding puzzles”
